An annual bilan de santé for every employee. By age and sex, each person gets the screenings Santé Canada recommends — physician-signed, done free in the public system, with the physician explaining every result. $50 per employee, per year.
From enrollment to results, every step runs through one workflow — and a physician signs every clinically-operative conclusion.
Tell us your headcount and pay. Employee consent is captured up front — an employer-requested, uninsured service.
Our intake system captures the history and review-of-systems at scale and organizes the records and forms — facts only, never a diagnosis.
A CMQ-licensed, board-certified physician applies judgment, makes the call, and signs. The draft is never the deliverable.
Each employee gets their screening plan and results over Spruce; you get a de-identified participation snapshot — never the diagnosis.
Pick an age and sex. See the screenings Santé Canada recommends for that profile — and how the physician follows up over Spruce when results come back. Every test below is done free in the public system; the $50 covers the plan, the requisitions, and the physician follow-up.
Illustrative — the screening list follows Canadian (CTFPHC / Santé Canada) guidelines and is physician-reviewed; it is not individual medical advice. All ordered labs and imaging are done free in the public system (CLSC / hospital); any abnormal work-up is arranged through RAMQ.

A licensed physician sits between the clinical file and you. Your employees' results stay between them and the doctor.
Most options are one half. Wellness and telemed apps summarize but can't put a physician behind a result — and the moment they risk-score, they become a regulated device. Traditional clinics have the signature but read every file by hand, priced by the hour. We bring it to your whole workforce — physician-signed, at one simple price.
We do the heavy reading and preparation; a board-certified physician makes the determination and signs.
The foundation of keeping a working population healthy.
Employer-commissioned uninsured services — outside the Canada Health Act in every province, the lane the national occupational-health firms operate in.
We sell discrete, employer-commissioned, uninsured deliverables — never private medically-necessary care. Any incidental medical finding is routed to the employee's own physician and the public plan, never billed to you. Our system organizes the facts; the physician makes every clinical call.
Yes. The Canada Health Act's extra-billing and user-charge rules apply only to insured medically-necessary services. Everything we sell — the annual bilan de santé (preventive screening) — is an employer-commissioned, uninsured, third-party service, billable employer-to-vendor in every province. It's the same lane the national occupational-health firms operate in. If anything ever surfaces a medically-necessary need, that component is routed to the public plan, never billed to you.
No. A licensed physician sits between the clinical file and you. You receive only participation (who completed their bilan) and a de-identified, aggregate population picture. Never the diagnosis, symptoms, medications, or anyone's individual record — mandated by the CMQ Code of ethics and Quebec's Law 25 / PIPEDA.
A board-certified physician — always. Our system organizes the intake, history and records (facts only — it never diagnoses, triages or risk-scores); the physician applies judgment, makes every determination, and signs it. That keeps the service off the regulated medical-device line and puts a real physician's name behind every call.
For each enrolled employee, by age and sex, we produce the screenings Santé Canada recommends — mammography, colorectal (FIT / colonoscopy), diabetes, depression, cervical, lipids and more — with physician-signed requisitions. The employee does the tests free in the public system (CLSC / hospital). When results return, the physician explains them over Spruce, email or SMS — "all good", or "your mammogram is abnormal, we'll arrange an ultrasound / a surgeon / a repeat in 5 months" — and arranges any work-up through RAMQ. The yearly fee covers the plan, the requisitions, and that physician follow-up; the tests themselves stay publicly covered.
Generally yes — employer-paid preventive and occupational health is an eligible business expense, and we provide a receipt. Whether it counts as a taxable benefit to the employee depends on how it's structured (for example, as a Private Health Services Plan); confirm the treatment with your accountant.
The bilan is billed per enrolled employee for the year — like a benefit premium. It's non-refundable and doesn't carry over to next year, so if someone chooses not to participate, the seat isn't refunded. We help you drive uptake with reminders and the aggregate participation dashboard.
You pay first, by headcount ($50 per employee), then a secure, payment-gated page unlocks where you add your employee roster (names + emails) so we can invite each person to Spruce. Everything is handled under signed agreement, encrypted, and processed with Canadian data residency (ca-central-1) for Quebec and enterprise clients.
